Co-Founder Eran Barak leads MIND with intuitive leadership and years of entrepreneurial success.
Eran Barak has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. He knew at an early age that his calling was to build something of his own. His career began in the prestigious IDF Intelligence Unit where he oversaw critical technological defense operations. Then, only a few years later, he co-founded Hexadite, a company that became known for cybersecurity innovation, particularly in AI-based capabilities.
Having worked tirelessly to build and scale the startup from the ground up, it was exciting yet bittersweet when Hexadite was acquired by Microsoft in 2017. As CEO, Barak was responsible for negotiating this acquisition and choosing the right partner. His deep understanding of the industry combined with undeniable business instincts helped him know when the timing was right.In the years since, Barak has been investing in cybersecurity startups and thinking about what to build next. His technical acumen, depth of knowledge in data loss prevention (DLP) and passion for innovation has often led Barak to see opportunities for disruption in their earliest iterations. MIND is a product of these qualities converging at the right time, with the right people.

Guild didn’t want to build out a full DLP team. What they wanted was a solution that could be managed by their existing security team—without taxing their budget, time or resources. “Being able to deploy a data loss prevention program not only seamlessly, but with a small team and not a huge hit to the budget…that was a big win for me,” said Julie Chickillo, Vice President of Information Security at Guild.
